Rooks’ Woods grew crooked again

A layered bare-forest silhouette now makes every rise, root, and stretch of solid ground easier to read.

The path belongs to the forest.

The alpha run’s defining low canopy and enormous crooked limbs return through recovered CC0 tree, branch, and root art. Four deterministic depth layers bind the authored collision path into the scenery while keeping the avatar and ground edge distinct.

Thirty-one clean decos

Thin distance trees, broken midground trunks, hanging canopy roots, and broad foreground bases come from the recovered art archive.

Crooked by design

Five authored limbs restore the hunched woodland rhythm visible in the reference without copying its dark, compressed pixels.

Ground stays legible

The original playable platform map is unchanged; roots now visually explain its rises while the top edge remains a continuous navigation cue.
